HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING
Bring friends and family for a festive "Brilliant Night, Dazzling Lights" kickoff to the holiday season at the Bayshore Town Center. This much-anticipated annual event stars Santa, snow fairies, music and treats, plus the lighting of the 50-foot tree in Town Square starting at 6 p.m.

Z IS FOR ZINE!
Zine Fest hits Milwaukee's Polish Falcon, 801 E. Clarke St., Saturday afternoon, and OnMilwaukee.com's Molly Snyder Edler will host a kids zine-writing workshop "Z is for Zine!" from 1 to 2 p.m. The event is free and kids aged 6-14 will learn the significance of DIY periodicals along with basic zine-making skills. Supplies are included, but feel free to bring rubber stamps, stickers and / or old magazines to contribute to the mix. More information:

SATURDAY MORNING RUN/WALK
Join all the fun and excitement at the second annual St. Jerome 5K Run/Walk benefitting St. Jerome Parish School in Oconomowoc. The race starts at 9 a.m. from the parking lot of the school and winds through the surrounding neighborhoods. The kids' fun run is 800 meters and will circle the church and school grounds. All runners will receive a long-sleeve shirt and goodie bag. A post-race party includes refreshments and music.

FREE KIDS' MEALS!
Chipotle Mexican Grill posted their first kids menu this month. Take the chance to try to menu for free! Families can make a pit-stop on Sundays and receive a complimentary kids meal with the purchase of burrito, bowl, salad or tacos! The offer runs Nov. 15, 22, and 29.

TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN
Trainfest, a 38-year tradition, is America's largest operating model railroad show under one roof. The annual two-day event reaches train enthusiasts and families who come to see over 50 operating layouts from Z to G scale, 70 manufacturers, 60 hobby dealers, 12 historical groups, artists and photography displays and on-site demonstrations, including locomotive testing. Kids can ride a circus train replica, take home a craft activity from the Radio Disney booth, and race trains in a miniature track. Kids 14 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.

FIRST STAGE'S LITTLE MONKEY BUSINESS
"Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business" ends this weekend. In this hilarious musical, the spirited kindergartner Junie B. Jones is anticipating the arrival of her new baby brother, whom she's convinced is a real monkey!
