MONDAY
ALL-CITY PARADE
This parade was rained out in August, but it's ready to roll on Labor Day! The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Zeidler Park in downtown Milwaukee and hits Wisconsin Avenue at 11 a.m. The parade ends on the Summerfest Grounds, joining Labor Fest, around 1:30 p.m. Hundreds of volunteers created amazing floats, puppets and creatures. This will be a parade like no other!
ALL WEEKEND LONG
HIGHLAND GAMES AND CELTIC FLING
It time for the Milwaukee area's second Highland Games of the season! Hit up the Culture Stage to don your tartan, jig to your heart's content and fill up on haggis at the Waukesha County Expo Center. The game events end around 6 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday, but the fun keeps comin'. Friday night is dedicated to the opening ceremonies and a music- and dance-filled Ceilidh and on Saturday and Sunday, there are drummers and pipers, St. Andrew's Pub Tent, a marketplace, cultural area, heavy athletics and much more.
