Auditions are held Saturday for kids between 8-13 years old, under 5 feet tall, and less than 100 lbs. This is a call for theater and dance groups; not individual auditions.

ALL WEEKEND LONG

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

You can combine Disney and dinner this weekend. The Fireside Dinner Theatre stages the award winning "High School Musical" in a production designed for young and old alike. Emmy Award-winning "High School Musical" was the most successful Disney Channel movie ever produced with 7.7 million viewers in its premiere broadcast in the United States. The show runs through June featuring a cast of talented and energetic young Broadway and Regional performers.

SMOKEY THE BEAR
"Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl: Home Sweet Home" is a new green-built exhibit developed by the Betty Brinn Children's Museum in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service. Smokey Bear, Woodsy Owl and their forest friends will share important messages as they welcome visitors to pretend woodland, urban and stream settings that encourage families to spend time together outdoors, and inspire children to discover and care for the natural resources that sustain our world -- our home sweet home. The exhibit includes a variety of educational activities, costumes, puppets and props that will be especially appealing for children ages 2-8.
